Solo Exhibition Opens May 28, 2022

Underworldly

Watercolor Paintings by Sophia Dong
Our New Solo Exhibition Opens May 28, 2022 at Plough Gallery, 216 8th Street West, Tifton, Georgia.
Artist Reception Saturday, May 28th from 5 to 7 PM. Artist in attendance, refreshments on the porch. The public is cordially invited  to meet the artist, view the exhibit and participate in the discussion of Sophia's work.
Plough Gallery is pleased to present our latest exhibit: "Underworldly", featuring the watercolor paintings of Sophia Dong. Sophia, a resident of Adel, Georgia, is an Asian American artist. In middle school, she received her first watercolor set and fell in love with the medium and defined herself as a watercolor artist. Watercolor enables Sophia to share fluid and translucent qualities with her subject matter of choice, jellyfishes. It allows her to portray dreamlike and euphoric feelings of swimming in another world.

We hope you will join us for this exceptional showing of watercolor paintings. There will be hors d'oeuvres and beverages available on the porch from 5 PM to 7 PM. Come visit with us, meet the artist and chat about her beautiful work. Don't miss UNDERWORLDLY at Plough Gallery! Come as you are! The reception and exhibit are free to attend and view and open to the public.
