Join us for an Artist Reception and Exhibit Opening for current Plough Gallery Artist-In-Residence Sarah Moore.

The Artist Reception - Exhibit Opening will be March 07, 2020 from 5 PM-7 PM. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

“As my residency here at Plough Gallery draws to a close, I wanted to make a body of work which reflects my transition from this adventure to the next. Having a studio of my own has fostered so much growth in my skill and understanding of clay; I know I will miss having a dedicated space to make and play in, with a medium I fell in love with during my undergraduate studies. As I prepare to welcome a child into the world, I have inevitably questioned where, when, and how I will be able to fit art into my life while caring for a baby. My current work utilizes clay, as well as materials which will be accessible to me outside the artist-in-residence studio. My exit show explores my hopes and fears about maintaining my identity and autonomy as an artist, while embracing motherhood.” -- Sarah Moore
