Artful April, a celebration of the arts in Tifton and the much anticipated unveiling of the outdoor public sculpture "Day & Night" by Mike Wsol of Atlanta. In conjunction with the opening of the made-for-Tifton sculpture "Day & Night", Plough Gallery is hosting a celebration of the handmade arts. Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, there will be live music, refreshments provided by Espresso 41, and 7 Regional Artisans presenting examples of their work and demonstrations on the gallery’s expansive Porch. Featured artists will include glass artist Lynn-Margaret Pace, ceramic works by Sarah Moore and Jon Brinley, fine wooden craft and hand built furniture by Joel Malin, hand sewn bags and textiles by Rika Trepanier, and live music with Dustin Otey. These artists are sharing their work and creativity to provide a day full of entertainment and new experiences in support of this public art piece and the importance of the arts in our community. Come join Plough Gallery for this one-of-a-kind event and be a part of the arts in Tifton.
